ABOUT THE PROJECT:
One of the most daring peice of enginering, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway was accorded World Heritage Status by UNESCO, and the exhibit has been put up by
North East Frontier Railway to commemorate the occasion. It traces the history of the railway, its decline and
the subsequent attempts at reviving its fortunes.
