ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Antonio Martinelli, armed with a camera, traversed the route that Thomas and William Daniell took to
capture on aquatints some of the architectural marvels of the Indian subcontinent. This exhibit at the
Durbar Hall of the Victoria Memorial, Calcutta, housed the photographs
he took, alongside Daniell's aquatints of the monuments.
