ABOUT THE PROJECT: When JNT started his steel plant in late 19th century, Jamshedpur was only a small village known as Sakchi on the banks of the river. Today, it is counted amongst India's top cities with state-of-the-art facilities for its denizens, much in keeping with the 100 year old vision of its founder. This gallery relates the story of the city of Jamshedpur and its people from its inception to the present.
